And maybe some of the videos could have codes in them for cr, pd, or items to help them get started, because honestly, vp is hard to get into without any way of getting nice items. If possible, could the code have a very long life time? So it doesn't expire before new users get to use them.

Some things that I think could be covered:
- How to navigate the site in general
- All the ways to get fans, include explanation of the travel options and upgrading + repairing 
- How to work the wardrobe, moving layers back and forth, filtering, wishlist, and item rarity explained
- How to redeem codes, where to look out for them
- Record label explanation 
- How to work forums, including how to add photos, videos, links etc
- How to message other players, guestbook, other peoples blogs and how to subscribe, startalk
- How to trade items with users, send money 
- How to link items and outfits properly without doing the mirror glitch 
- Explaining manager and diamond member
- Credit set week explain 

Those are what I can think of that I've been explaining to my friend! A detailed video/s would be amazing, I know some of these may seem simple but this game can be so difficult to get into when there is so much! 

Maybe comment anything else that should be explained.

I personally find videos a looot more helpful. It's just not the same haha and also mentors I don't think have that much responsibility, they could just ignore messages tbh and some might be too shy to ask/ feel like they're bothering people

I personally find videos much more helpful too. So probably we will be doing this..
Yeah, as long as i know most of the mentors are inactive or never reply orr are not good with explaining... which i think vp should keep track of.
But about the code thing.. We most likely won’t be doing it, it’s not easy to get it and people most likely will abuse it. 
But the good news is that i’ve been working on a video about how to get cr easily, so that might help a lot of new users.
