.com still has yet to be change off the website. It's so unnecessary. Facebook, tumblr, youtube, blogster, ANY WEBSITE for that matter does not need to put the . anything on the website unless it has a point which in this case it doesn't. If it had some type of meaning to it, for example, my professors website skeptic.al which gives an AH HA moment.
Banners
Our server hasn't been updated and it still think it's in the realm of holidays when it's nearly February. All the banners also have hard to read back drops like you try to read shout and can't even see the person's words because it blends. That is POOR design. Sometimes the text even runs into the wheel which is also bad design.
Navigation
The whole website navigation isn't very organized as well. Like I understand the links should change per page but sometimes you don't always remember where stuff went. If you look at the skeleton/wire frame of the site, then yes this website is by far not organized. Some new players can't even find games because money makes them think it has to do with membership and fans has to do with performance. It's like a cross between whether or not they click between them. Not to mention Fashion contest was just randomly thrown into social even though it is technically still a game.
Mail system
This is one of the worst system on the site due to the lack of organization. You lose mail simply because you waited too long. This never happens on other websites. Many people like to browse through old mail etc. What should be added is an organization system with folders or etc. Group messaging would also be lovely in the mail system.
Games (in general)
They are all slow pace games which are not always fun. It takes awhile to earn PD and there is literally no time to just sit around for 20 minutes to earn just 200pd. There needs to be a more prominent way to earn pd besides fashion contest or winning competitions. And some of it is actually boring. Most of the classic games are stuff we can find ANY generic computer. Windows has all of that already pretty much. The casino games have also been really glitchy recently. Memory has been freaking out more than it should be doing due it showing me 4 cards at once then not being able to move.
Icons
From a design perspective, all the icons on the site are very much not original. The home button icon you see is pretty much on every other amateur made site. It's also commonly on Pizco. There is no originality with general most of it. This site has potential to create interesting icons but it doesn't take that step into that direction.
The VIP badges
Holds really no point at this current time. Most users have no motivation or have already done everything on the badges. I thought these could have been achievements on like a separate page and stuff so it would motivate users to use the site more. They could also been more goal earning if it was thought through more. Like if you completely all of them you get a special item or if you complete one of each you get an item related to the darn thing.
Blogs
We should be able to live view what we post because not all the codes and stuff will preview correctly and it would save me time. Also this blog statistic page is not really statistic. It's just information or an overview of blogs. There is no mathematical thing besides showing the last 10 blogs or who post recently which is pretty much showing the same thing twice.
Administrative
One admin who is trying to his best to cover all sites of Virtual Popstar is more hassle than it should be. There needs to be a staff member on each or middle man because I'm sure Kaj does have more on his plate then he really needs. And I say admin because let's face it... Just because there are teams and they should be working together doesn't mean they should be the verdict of the site. Moderators shouldn't have to worry about the games glitching to the extent of trying to fix it. Moderators are people who help keep rules into action and answer any question. Paparazzi and Event team can't make the site the best it can be without the help of a staff member being available.I'm also pretty sure Kaj doesn't know everyone on the site and can connect 24/7 since he does have the other servers.
Chat Lounge
It really should just blankly be removed. We don't use this option. It was a great thought, but it doesn't pop out of the browser and it doesn't beep or single someone added a new comment. Thus, it draws no motivation to use it. AKA POINTLESS FEATURE.
Wardrobe / Shops
They really need to be redesigned. They are inefficient since if you go past 25 pages with hair you will have to deal with the arrows. It's unorganized. There also needs to be an overview so you can see who made it because I would like to know whether or not something is licensed by dollzmania or whether or not Jess made it without having to pester in mail so I can instead be like, "Hey jess, I bought 5 of your outfit you designed and now I'm going to flaunt it like it's my next puppy".
The News Feed
The "news feed" slide show on the front/landing page. I really don't think it should be in the hands of Event/Paparazzi Team. If it is, then it really needs more design then just text especially bad text/typeface/font. This is one of the reason the website is automatically considered Childish because it is childish designed. I've seen three very bad design. Text does not draw attention. Text is not meant to be used as an image. An image is suppose to be used as an image. It's not captivating me one bit.
Daily News Emails
I've wanted to opt out of them since the begin and there should still be this function.
Credits / Manager
This has not enough motivation for anyone to support the site. The VIP sponsor also doesn't have much motivation. You could pretty much make a separate shop with just credits and remove all the other credits and combined those shops together so they are one and then you have a credit shop. There would be more motivation selectiveness. The rate between credits and popdollars should also be greater due it being just 1k. It's too easy for someone to acquire it without having to pay real money. There could also be a manager/vip only game where there is a chance to earn credits or more pd or something more selective. Also, I see no point for it to be at the top besides it saying active or inactive which should be bluntly somewhere else.
Animations
Since everything is so still, it would be nice to see more animation and attention to motion. Everything is so static. It's almost likely the avatar is plastic and has no character at all when really she is supposedly traveling and singing at very locations.
Backgrounds of Lessons/performances
They should change either by level or by location because it is absolutely boring to just click a button and wait 8 minutes for another click.
This issue with YouTube
I'm pretty sure VP does not pay youtube to use their name so freely and supposedly a big thing for the site. Aka the youtube team, the "hot on youtube", the "youtube link" for your profile, then YOUTUBE STAR. I feel like the site needs to take a big step back from "Youtube". Like it could have been named Poptube star or something like that instead of youtube. It could have said "Hot on the web" or "Fresh new look" or something not labeling youtube. Youtube link could really be "video link" and youtube team should not even be a team since there are only two members like come on.
Drop shadow

This is atrocious, so bad design and typography. Why because it makes the text hard to read. It makes it stand out to show it's bad. There could have been a different color background to make it stand out. There could have been an icon. Anything but the drop shadow.
Bodyguard
I really do believe this function has no purpose whatsoever besides have you spend money to make sure you don't lose fans. It would just be easier to have fans lost randomly because your bodyguard "fucked up".
Coupons

Since when do we even used it..? Do we even have coupons? Are there prepaid cards out that I have no idea about, but as far as I'm aware we don't.
VP videos
VP should be creating videos themselves too. Not just the users. We can't do all the work to make "VP" to the top. There has to be a balance between user and administration.

Categories should remove themselves if no one is online. There also could be no separation between the two because they have a badge. It's just a badge.
