As you can already tell from the title of this page, this month’s user of the month is Vissy! Vissy was nominated for being positive and kind in the forums, and we all agreed that she would be perfect for the feature this month, so enjoy this little interview to get the chance to learn a few new things about her!

Who is Vissy? “Vissy is an almost 20 year old girl from Finland who enjoys spending all of her time on the internet,” she said. “And do you have any other hobbies than the internet?” I asked. “Watching kdramas counts, right?” was her immediate answer, but she could also tell me that she enjoys photography, drawing and singing and dancing in her room while listening to kpop, among some other genres. She is a huge kpop fan, and has Moonbyul from Mamamoo as her biggest idol.

She graduated about six months ago, and have since mostly been staying at home. Recently though, she was accepted to a vocational school where she will be studying media, and will enroll there in the beginning of February. “It feels nice to go back to normal and do something during the days again, haha!”

Vissy discovered VP back in November 2015, when someone on Finnish gsm made a thread about it and she decided to check it out. Her favorite thing about the site is to collect items and just hang around in the forums, but she also said she enjoys entering fashion contests and dressing up from time to time.

You might have seen a Grim Reaper around? That was most likely Vissy, as she’s been wearing versions of a reaper since around Halloween last year. It started out as a simple Halloween costume, but have since escalated to somewhat become her trademark. “I wore it for a while and people loved it, and wanted me to keep it longer, so I did. How do I feel about being the Reaper? Hmm, it's just grown on me and I don't dare change my concept, and I don't plan on it either anytime soon. It's fun when people can recognize me just with my look haha.”

Vissy is also a part of the Youtube team here on VP. She has the role of vlogger, and for her most recent vlog she filmed herself getting ready and having her first kpop concert experience. “I would love to be better at making videos and become more confident in front of the camera and representing myself,” she said about why she enjoys being on the Youtube team.

And lastly, here are three random facts you might not know about Vissy:
× She’s an aunt, and has both a niece and a nephew
× She still has her Christmas tree up
× She used to collect posters and had over 100! She still collects, but now only kpop posters.

There has been quite a lot going on on the competition front this month. We got the winner announcements for the raffle ET hosted in late December where you could win some cute sets by Mada and Crown, as well as the winners for ET’s two winter competitions: a photography one and a dress up competition. All participants won the photography competition. We also had a pair dress up competition form ET this month. Together with a partner, you had to make one white and one black look. The winners have yet to be announced. We have also had the newest addition to ET’s competitions related to the Greek gods. This month everyone had to make an outfit inspired by Helios, the sun god, for a chance to win some gorgeous sets by Gravitation. There were a lot of amazing entries, so ET will have a hard time deciding on the winners.

SMT held two Who Wore It Best competitions this month. The first one was hosted on Tumblr where you can also find the winners. The prizes were some beautiful hairs, both male and female made by River. The second WWIB is still ongoing, with deadline on February the 2nd. Make sure not to miss it! The prizes for this WWIB are more hairs, the female prize made by Julia and the male by River. SMT has also hosted a raffle this month. The male prize was made by Crown, while the female was made by River. River has really been active designing prizes this month, so thank you for that! The winners of the raffle have been posted on Twitter. Congrats to everyone who won a competition this month, and good luck to all participants in ongoing comps!

Breaking news!! The males have finally received a new manager set! The new set was released on January 3rd after a few male avatar members posted in the shouts asking when they would finally get a new one, and get a new one they did with this beautiful design by Chalya. With a shortage of male designs lately, this was a great surprise and I hope that they can continue to get some great sets for themselves. Please continue to design for the males, they appreciate it!

Once again it was time for our favourite time of the month, Mega Credit Week, and this week did not disappoint. It started on January 6th and went until January 12th.There was a wide variety of designers in this weeks credit set, which helped have a little something for everyone! There was no poll this time so it's hard to say what everyone's favourite was, but the 24 Euro set designed by Nama seemed to be a pretty popular one to me. Lily once again came out on top this week with three designs! Thank you for designing for males Lily, I'm sure they appreciate it (even if they have to pay for it haha)

This months Auction was on Saturday January 12th and lasted the usual 24 hours. The sets were very beautiful and well designed. The Female sets were designed by Songbird (pd) and Lily (cr). Everyone loved Lily's Elsa design based on the 2nd movie, and was equally matched with love for the Songbird design! The male sets were designed by Ouch (pd) and a matching Elsa design for the males designed by Lily (cr).  Can't wait to see what next month brings!
