Music has always been a big part of my life; I don't think a day goes by where I don't listen to it. And I also love discovering new music, especially bands. 

Since I started listening to music on Spotify, I have discovered so many new bands and, to be honest, this makes me really happy. I don't think there is anything better than getting in bed and listening to good music and then going onto twitter or other social media and getting noticed by your favourite band. This is one of my favourite things to do. 

So earlier on this month I was listening to Spotify and it advertised a playlist for the indie top forty. Because of this I decided to give it a listen and I then discovered Darlia and Issues and from then I knew that I wanted to write an article about this and see if you guys have heard of them or if there are any different bands you guys would recommended me listening to. 

I also recommend using the radio feature on Spotify because that is how I discovered the Wombats.

I think that I may be a little late with becoming a fan of The Wombats because most of the song by them that I have listened to have come out a long time ago but I still like listening to their music. 

The Wombats are a band who originate from Liverpool in England and are made up of three members; Matthew Murphy, Tord Overland Knudsen and Dan Haggis. They have been around since 2003 and have already had music out this year.

I would say that I am a fan of them and would love to see them in concert.

My favourite song by them is Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves) which is from their album The Wombats Proudly Present: This Modern Glitch. I haven't listened to all of the album but what I have heard is good.

Darlia is probably one of my favorites out of these three bands because I am in love with their song I've Never Been To Ohio. I like the sound of it at the beginning. If anyone of you have seen the film Whip It then you will understand what I'm about to say next. They make me think of Oliver's band for some reason in this song, that was the first thought that popped into my head when I heard it. 

Darlia originate from Blackpool in England and are made of three members just like The Wombats. They are made up of Nathan Day, Dave Williams and Jack Bentham. 

Their new album, Petals, actually came out on the 23rd of this month and they are currently going on tor with The Wombats (gutted that I couldn't go) I am yet to listen to their album but the music I have heard by them is very good. I'm going to listen to their album after this as it is on Spotify so be sure to check it out.  

My song suggestion for Darlia is I've Never Been To Ohio. It's my favourite so far. 

The song Hooligans by Issues is one of my favorites right now. My favourite version has got to be from their Diamond Dreams album which came out in 2014. I think it's better than the original version, although I do like that one. This version is different and I like it and can't help but sing along when I hear it. 

Issues are actually an American band who originate from Atlanta, Georgia. They were founded in 2012 and are made up of six members; Josh Manuel, Michael Bohn, Tyler Acord, Skyler Acord, AJ Rebollo and Tyler Carter. They have also had a few other members who have now left the band.
