Actually idc if it's Bruce or Caitlyn Jenner. It's the same person and if she's happy, everything is fine.

Unless we are in her shoes, we'll never know what she went through to be her real self, and be comfortable in her own body. I'm proud of her. I hope she's happy(l)

Till they can change his DNA to read that he's a female (which is impossible btw) he's still technically a man so yea... whatever floats his boat.

good thing you've never had the feeling that you weren't at home in your own body, living half your life feeling disconnected and wrong because a string of dna determined that you were to be born as the opposite gender. it's great you've never had to feel disgust looking down at yourself because your body parts don't look the way your mind believes they should. i'm glad you've never felt the disrespect of someone calling you she or he or the other way around when you've been struggling your whole life to feel at home in your own skin. so sure, call caitlyn a he because biology determines it so if that's what floats your boat. but she is caitlyn. she always has been.

As a REAL women, I am insulted by this entire situation. He has not gone through any of the hardships that us women have to endure. He has not done anything to deserve the title of woman. If paying thousands of dollars to be some science experiment automatically gives you the "right" to be compared to a REAL woman, then that says how little women actually mean in the world.

(I belive I saw that Bruce/Caitlyn wanted to be called by female pronounce, just tell me otherwise if i'm wrong)

I think it's great that she's stepped up for herself, and in the meantime also given a lot of people a new perspective. It's important to be true to who you are. However, I don't really care for the Kardashian family in other aspects. Reality TV just isn't real.

Does it really matter that much to you that he decided to become a woman? It's not like it directly effects your life. Also, at the end of the day, Caitlyn is still a human being. That should be enough for you to have the decency to treat her with some respect.

Also, who are you to say what a REAL woman is? Now, Caitlyn is a REAL woman, whether you like it or not.

Good for her. That couldn't have been easy. (l)

it doesn't have shit to do with being a 'real woman' or not having endured what 'real women' have. what the fuck is a real woman even? she's probably struggled with a lot of other shit like transphobia and not being able to probably even admit to herself that she's a woman, both because of media and just the world in general. being a symbol for trans people in general is flipping great, anyone having the courage to do so, famous or not, rich or not, deserves credit. i would say the same if it was woman transitioning to man or any other way. and if she meant that women really mean that little, why in the world would she want to be one 'by choice' and for a science experiment? i really see no harm, because she is not a fake woman. privilege does not make her fake. sure, it makes her lucky, but not fake.

Bruce is not a real woman. Nor will he ever be. Sure he went and got plastic surgery and everything to make him look like a women but he is not a women. Can he have a period? No. Can he have go through a pregnancy? No. Does he have a uterus and ovaries? No. Does he have two x chromosomes in his DNA? No. Does he have a vagina? No. Therefore Bruce Jenner is not a real women. A REAL women has a period, she can go through a pregnancy, she has a uterus and ovaries, she has two x chromosomes in her DNA and she has a vagina all which a man does not have nor will he ever have even if he goes and get all these surgeries done to make him look like a women.

Right - so just because she hasn't gone through the same things as many other unfortunate women have, Caitlyn doesn't have the right to be a woman? Because feeling like you're trapped in your own body isn't enough as it is? That's like saying you're not a real woman if you haven't gotten raped. What you've gone through does not define what gender you are. And I think you need to look up the definition of an experiment, because a sexchange is nowhere near that.

Over: What about the women that can't get their periods, nor ever get pregnant because of diseases and conditions? What are they, FAKE women?

Being a woman isn't just about anatomy. It's about knowing how to treat other people with respect and compassion. Clearly, you have difficulty with that, but you don't see me calling you a fake woman do you? No. So, treat Caitlyn with the same respect. Because she is a real woman, and a human being.
