don't get me wrong. boy george was beautiful and had an amazing fashion sense that was truly revolutionary. both are (were for the latter) HIGHLY talented. their music is really annoying though. I'm sorry. I appreciate what they did but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is like the most annoying song ever.
i'm like the biggest fan of boy george and culture club so yes i'm going to disagree and say that they weren't overrated, just much hyped like every single one of hit bands etc on every era

I used to "hate" mainstream music when I was 11-13 (but secretely listened to some) and say rock music is the only good music but I just wanted to seem edgy and cool
