I would argue Lana is more overrated. Mad love for Lana's aesthetic but she's just making the hipster trend accessible to all and really isn't that talented. She just has the help of heavy studio production. Love her music though.

I can get people don't care for Adele's music but I think she earns all the fame and hype she gets. She's a true talent. (also I just really fucking love her ok?)
