It's like people who say they don't like books cause they're boring. In music, especially, out of a whole genre of music, there is bound to be one song that you don't mind/secretly like xD. Even if it's a hybrid pop song xD 
Wait, are you saying that I'm a music snob? When I just stated that I like that kind of music more, but do still like pop at least sometimes. That doesn't mean I'm a music snob. It just mean, that I personally like f.e. Metallica better than f.e. One Direction.

(Same goes with f.e. movies. Some like scifi, some like romantic comedies. You're beings snob if you're like "This kind of genre is the only genre you should watch/read/listen etc. And it's the only proper one." etc.)

nonoo, sorry :3 I mean people who say "music has gone to shit" etc etc. - I wasn't calling you one :3 I was using you as an example to say that it's possible to love completely different kinds of music - it doesn't change you as a person, make you better or worse :3 

(It really does. I'm a film studies student & because I haven't seen Titanic or LOTR my friend criticised how I could call myself a film student. Like he was kidding but other people have done it to me seriously and it irritates me a little, as that's not what Film is about xD)

haha it's cool. I'm tired so I realise I probably didn't connect my idea as well as I should've :3 

(Yup it's happened. I mean, I plan to maybe one day see Titanic but the film was ruined for me a little by a history teacher (not the ending, I already know that xD). I mean I've even stuff from Teenage 80's Rom-Coms down to Film Noir to Kids Animated Films but because I've never seen those two films, I'm an outcast xD. - it really is :d I just completed my 1st year in Sixth form of it :3 aw I hope you get more :) What I really love for my course is that it isn't mandatory for students to make films, as I love writing them & studying them more <3)
