Best choice should've been for Israel to withdraw after first political song, like the threatened with doing. That was they could've been the victims and come out looking good for their narrative without all of this messy trouble, and there probably would've been less focus on Israel as a whole because they wouldn't be in the spotlight these days.

Also the EBU should've been honest and direct about Joost Klein to not blow this out of proportion.
