It's hard to keep track of that differentiation when people start acting snobbish on things. That's the only thing that irritates me with fandoms - the snobbery that surrounds them. Whether it's people in different fandoms against each other etc or those from the outside looking in.

For me personally it's a 'keep your nose out of their business' kind of thing, which is why when I see something I don't like - I usually separate myself from it. If snobbery does occur though, I do sometimes stand up because it's unfair to be that way about something that can mean a lot to a person. For some, these things that people joke about are stuff that have saved them out of dark times & etc.

Good I won't. You won't change your opinions.. But you should at least acknowledge that: yes I understand differences in opinions but you're trampling on something that people seek refuge in. Maybe seeking from first world problems, yes, but they still need that. Also, I wasn't offended by that - I simply asked if you knew what you were talking about (which is what I meant by have more right to speak about - I.E cause I fucking know exactly what my facts are in this area).
I got angrier at you because of how you continued to treat people such as: Supernatural fans are "pieces of shit towards women"? / 'superwholock fans haven't realised the world isn't abt them and their fantasy of white men' - do you personally speak to any of these people to know exactly this?

I can agree though - I honestly am not contacting you ever again, because of how you talk to people. I tried to be nice to you in the beginning (the very first time we spoke in a different forum & you gave me a link to a sexuality wikia to learn - which I looked at, btw , and shall continue to so I can better understand everyone) & to understand your POV. That time, we agreed & all seemed well. But slowly, you just keep doing the same things. You told me in that forum that you were trying to change and to be nicer to people but I don't see it - and that's why I spoke out against you.

ah yes but the key word in the original post: "assume". You "assume" these fans have shit behaviour and have 'called them out' on it. At the end of the day, there are shit fans in every fandom - look at churches, you can still get shitty critical people who go to church, despite being told to 'love thy neighbour' etc. It's the fact that you generalised all of the fans for the small minority you've seen.
But I cba to talk about this anymore, at the end of the day - I like what I like, you & you. We stay out of each others way = happy people all around
