I mean why doesn't candlebox receive as much hate? they're not much different from nickelback's older stuff tbh. it makes me suspicious of some of the most vicious nickelback haters:

now personally I think both boy george and fucking george michael were overrated.

don't get me wrong. boy george was beautiful and had an amazing fashion sense that was truly revolutionary. both are (were for the latter) HIGHLY talented. their music is really annoying though. I'm sorry. I appreciate what they did but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is like the most annoying song ever.

love pearl jam

I really think nirvana was like a punk revival though. they had the spirit of punk intact. they just went up and played and did their thing. they weren't great on a technical level, but that was the point. Don't really think it's fair to compare 'em to pearl jam for that reason. they did different things.

I personally love Hole's first two albums and as much of a wreck Courtney Love may be I like that she defied traditional roles for woman yet was still feminine. Also don't think she's a murderer and nothing will ever change my mind.

i mean true i don't get the whole grunge thing in general the bands weren't that similar but i'll still think pearl jam was the best

People are speculating that Vicky (chris cornells wife) murdered Chris also. I feel bad for her (and courtney) it's fucked up.

listening to "shut up kiss me" and I really like this

it's a lot more fresh and original than the other "edgy" pop singers of now. has a nice 90's sound to it. a bit of a kate bush influence I think?

still gonna vouch for sia though fucking love her! I really like the dream-poppy feel of Elastic Heart and her second major release was no disappoint. adele as well (who plays her own instruments yet is still extremely commercially successful so plus!)
