FT: Music Monday 2

So, it's monday and mondays suck. Everyone hates mondays, myself included. On the bright side, monday means another Music Monday, and as we all know, music makes everything just a little bit better.
This week, I will present you with two bands that you might or might not have heard about.
So without further ado...

9 lb Beaver
As someone wrote on a blog I read, 9 lb Beaver is nothing you've never heard before. Their song Angry all the time sounds exactly like something from early The Damned, and Party in North Korea sounds like what it is: a fairly new punk rock song.
If you're anything like me, you know, in love with punk rock and tired of all the new shit, 9 lb Beaver is for you.
The band formed way back in the 00's and come from Seattle, WA.
You can find their music HERE

The Pink Slips
The Pink Slips is, despite being new and with a modern sound, probably one of my all time favorite bands. The band is based in Seattle, WA, was formed in 2013, and consists of singer Grace McKagan, keyboardist Trent Peltz, guitarist Charlie Woods, and bassist Charlie Anastasis.
Some of the band's influences include David Bowie and various rock bands from the 70's, 80's, and 90's, but they still manage to sound very modern, and also quite electronic.

What do you think of these bands?
What sort of bands and artists would you like to get introduced to in future Music Mondays?
Do you know of any not-yet-famous bands that you think people should give a listen? Share!
