Hi guys
I'm a complete beginner like one who hasn't ever even heard of notes. I can't read them and stuff. Sure I've heard of them and by now I can name the strings on my guitar EADGBE but that's about everything I know about that. XDD So I tried to follow along a video, a tutorial for Losing My Religion which is about 18, 5 Minutes or sth and includes which string do I pick, strumming pattern and so on ^^ aaand I have to change from one chord to another pretty quick. I mean it's too quick for me bc I always have to think about where do I put my finger now which takes me minimum 2 seconds. Also, my fingers still don't remember the position so I always go by "this finger on that string now" xD Which is wrong,  so I've been told in a video, like I'm not supposed to be putting my fingers one by one but all at once at the strings but that seems kinda hard bc my fingers don't remember. Do you think if I practice long enough they will? Id think so tbh :// And idk either if it's the right thing to do that I try to learn songs and the chords during that, do I have to learn chords first and then songs? Or maybe have I picked a song that's too hard for beginners?

All in all, how did you start learning to play guitar
And how'd you recommend someone to learn it who has no previous knowledge with includes - do I have to learn theoretical things about music and if so what kinds of things? (I can read a guitar tab xPP)

Absolutely, just keep practicing and your fingers will automatically move to the right positions!
I dont remember how i started, i was very young, but i learned a few chords, started playing basics songs and the more i played the easier it became. Just keep practising and u will be really good eventually :)

Never learned to play guitar myself, but I'd suggest you learn a few basic chords and then pick some easier songs just to get started. Once you feel comfortable doing that you can move on to more advanced songs. As long as you practice, you'll be able to learn. Good luck!

I have the feeling that the guitar I bought is a lil bit cheap...
