What do you mean " do people understand what they r saying "? The lyrics? If they understand the meaning of lyricrs? or just the pronunce? Because,if you aren't korean or not studying korean it's hard to understand what they say tho

i know the meaning of their music because i read the translations

ive studied korean on and off for over a year so can understand some of it without the translations. but with it being music sometimes i dont understand small nuances or metaphors lol so i have to look up the translations anyway

even if i didnt understand any of the korean, what would be the problem?  i dont understand the languages sung in most opera but nobody shits on me for listening to opera.

Yes okay, then I apologize :3
For me I try to learn Korean so I know a few words here and there, but the kpop fandom is full of great translators who helps non-Korean speaking fans to understand. Ofc I only listen if I like the music, but I also look up and read the translations, maybe look for the complete meaning in the song.
