This is supposed to illustrate the evil within. That's why I've got this ordinary looking boy, because on the outside we can't see what's going on on the inside. My thought of this was this boy being a murderer which is the reason behind all the blood. And the silhouette in the background is the evil within him. It's the evil that has taken over his mind and taken action.
We are the truly evil in our own life, whether it's our self-descrutive minds or the things that we are able to do. Most of the time we don't even show signs before we are far in - And some never does.

The light can't shine without darkness, and a bright sunny day would have been awful without the possibility tho hide in the shadows to cool down.

I honestly don't think we can name one big evil, cause what is it to be purely evil?
