I don't know anything about Stranger Things,
but I have actually fought the Demogorgon before so I figured I'd enter.
Almost a year ago now my friends and I finished the Dungeon & Dragons adventure
Out of the Abyss,
which is [in the most recent addition of D&D] where the Demogorgon is from and is the final antagonist of.
The fight was one of the hardest I've ever had, but it would have been even harder without a certain person in our party.
You see, a friend of ours was playing a Warlock, which is a class who gets their magical abilities by making a
pact/contract with a powerful being, and her pact was with an extremely powerful fiend- the Prince of Demons Demogorgon himself.
She originally started as an evil character who was planning on luring us to the Underdark as sacrifices for Demogorgon,
but over the course of the campaign she saw more and more how truly twisted and horrible the plans of her master were.
The tipping point for her alignment shift was when another member of our party- someone who had found out she was evil but never told anyone else- sacrificed themselves to save her and everyone else in our party. His last words were to her, warning her that the only way she would ever be able to redeem herself was to use the vast knowledge she had of her master to aid in his ultimate defeat.
Needless to say that her knowledge helped. The fight with the Demogorgon was deadly and in the end claimed quite a few of us, but we never would have stood a chance without her and her help. I know it seems weird to be emotional over something like a game of D&D, but when you spend over a year playing a single campaign you can't help but get attached.
Here is Malexandra, the Pact Breaker.
I'M SORRY MY ENTRY IS UNNECESSARILY LONG, I JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE ;o;
