Salem wrote:it shows up for everyone so imo sounds like you weren't sure what to look for, which is fine but just. own up to that instead of attacking the people who made the event like it's something they should take ownership for. code hunts have notoriously been more difficult than this one and this time around most people found it easier/more enjoyable what with both moss and lab being active in the thread and actually getting lots of hints.
also something you said earlier abt it being unfair is a bit ??? because really if people aren't active enough to know what to be looking for then it's pretty likely whatever they claim will end up stuck in their wardrobe unusable by others bc they lost interest. I definitely like the fact that it's an actual hunt and not a first come first served type of thing because it makes sense that those who know the most abt the site/have invested more time and understanding into it have a higher chance of getting the benefits of that so to speak.

I am not attacking, or atleast not trying to. I, again, am sorry if it seems that way.
The only part that I can see as attack, was me calling moss out where they said "or smart enough to ask" That's the part I got offended at because it has very little to do with being smart or not, I already have enough struggles with that, I don't need to be indirectly called stupid, it was probably just a bad choice of words on their part, but it still upset me.
And again with the unfair part, It's not directed at this thread in particular, calm down. It is more like directed towards the morality of limited codes as a whole. I just want everyone- both new and old to have a chance because I don't like the unfairdness of real life to follow into some fictional online game.
I also like that it's a hunt- I am not complaining about that. It's just the fact that It's difficult to find the information in time that bugs me. Nothing else.

If possible inactivity is a problem.
Then just make it so that those who are unactive for too long gets deleted and have their items go on auction or just out to random other people who don't have the items and want them like they do with people who have died. I've seen other websites do that so why can't this?
its not unfair. u just don't like being left out but ur gonna have to learn to live with it pal

Alot of people quit and come back, this really wouldn't be a solution. And why this site wont do it.. because kaj don't work on this site what so ever. We got to make do with what we have..

no
lemme quote ur reply to moss:
"Oof yeah no. I cannot relate to the hints at all so I guess you only helped people who can understand where those hints relate "
as other ppl have already pointed out, u have to understand the game-layout and also how et generally organizes these hunts - so maybe just seeing it once without getting to claim is good enough for new players.
the organizers have no obligation to specifically help you to get the codes fast enough, heck they don't even have to give out hints if they don't want to. So instead of being passive-aggressive (look above to the quote) u could've either asked nicely for more specific hints (for you, since others already understood the previous hints) or just let this code hunt slide and get the ones next time with a little more luck and knowledge on ur side.
coming back to ur "new players lose interest" message - well new players have to get used to the site first, so saying "no" to what I have said is objectively wrong and also uselessly passive-aggressive 😃
My no wasn't passive agressive. It was just a direct no, because I actually mean no as an answer to your questions.

I meant relate as in I cannot relate the questions to anything on this meaning that I probably don't get where they go and surely I am not alone with that. I wasn't saying that they have to give hints. Getting used to this site is hard.
