I'm honestly not sure, it was a long while ago! I think I actually used the base idea (a multiple round competition where people have to do different things each round and then get scores that are added together) as an event idea for my ET app. And then it was just choosing a theme, and I've always loved Norse mythology, and the other ET members thought it sounded like an interesting theme to do
