Ainesia grew up in a secluded forest village along with a tribe of other wood elves. Her life was never short of anything. She grew up with a pair of loving parents, siblings and chose to become a druid healer. Over time, her tribe got involved in a war to protect their home. As a healer, Ainesia's duty was to stay at the camp and heal the wounded soldiers. One day, the chieftain was badly wounded. Despite Ainesia's best efforts, he succumbed to his wounds. The other villagers grew to resent her for this. Distraught and stricken with guilt and shame, Ainesia decided to leave the village behind once the war came to a halt, desperate to find ways to grow stronger.
Ainesia is driven by her goal and seeks out ways to help everyone in any way she can. Due to growing up in a secluded village, Ainesia is naive and unaware of the evil some humans possess.

So her name is Sanya. She is the princess and heir of a magical and near perfect kingdom. She is somewhat naïve and very stubborn but very earnest and sincere about her role as princess. Like many princesses, in-between studies and training, she daydreams about many things including a handsome prince in shining armor appearing in her life. And one day he does. Sort of.

Suffice to say, fate likes to be ironic. A rift between dimensions opens and a dragon kidnapping a maiden and a noble looking warrior fighting to save her appear in the middle of the kingdom. The man defeats the dragon and save the maiden, and the king gladly welcomes him and the wounded girl into the castle to recuperate before they return to their dimension.

As you may imagine, she wasn't sad he didn't leave right away either. A handsome warrior dropping into the kingdom was a dream come true even in the peaceful, happy kingdom. In her enthusiasm to get to know him, she goes to find him and does--in the middle of "eating his prey that the dragon had stolen from him."

He tells her that he just wants to go home and not make a scene. But, in the morning, the king and advisors say that the interdimensional portal had closed and they have no idea how to work that kind of magic. After some earnest inquiries, the royal group reveal that there are rumors of a dragon in the farthest reach of the kingdom. Since dragons are the ones that have the power to open dimensional rifts, the warrior/vampire immediately decides to follow that lead.

The king felt it honorable to provide a royal escort for the "noble warrior" and insisted to send guards with him (despite his objections). The princess declared it was only fair that she herself lead the guards and warrior across the land because it was such a serious, noble quest (and because she is the only one who knows what he is and doesn't want to incite panic and make an enemy of the man by revealing he's as much of a monster as the dragon was).

And so, their perilous and fascinating journey begins. At times, especially as they get closer to the rumors of the dragon's lair, they stop at quiet little taverns for provisions and local information. And, I can imagine the guests of the taverns would stop and look at the group-- a royal, guard, a strange warrior, and the crown princess of the country--as they make an interesting occurrence in the quiet, happy kingdom of (oh frick i should name that too uh...) Canticum.

(latin for song, there's a reason for that

with a talisman that would keep his daughter alive, for now, promising more time
with each fairy the man delivered. The man traveled throughout the kingdoms,
capturing more fairies, and selling them to children once they were weakened.
But he always kept Zephia close to his side.

Zephia tried to stay strong for her people, but she wasclosing in on despair when a young woman approached the market stall. The woman
was the first in many years to speak up for Zephia and her people. The young woman
and her friends risked their quest and their freedom to rescue the fairies. Despite
all the bad that humans had done to her, Zephia choose to join the young woman
and her friends on their journey to defeat the great evil of the world and bring
humans and magic closer together along the way.

and starting a new war.

and the bows from the battalion
forest nymphs and pray to the gods
to keep them safe.

As they're marching to the battle,

the wind whispered at her,

the sound of victory,

the sound of peace.

Ira was found as a fairly young child lost and alone in the woods by a small group of humans that took him in and raised him as their own. Primarily human in appearance, Ira has the wings of a dragon.
Growing up, Ira found comfort in the surrounding forest. Fellow creatures of nature were easily his friends. He spent a great deal of time venturing about, enjoying the splendid bodies of water nearby, and hanging out in the trees, watching as unknown explorers and adventurers passed by, at times, offering guidance with a quizzical demeanor and smirk like grin that caused people to question his trustworthiness; but, rarely did he lie.
Despite seeming to be one that wants to cause trouble, he lives a rather simple and calm life, scarcely leaving the area in which he grew.
