Sorry to hear that! We try to encourage participants to keep the required items mostly recognizable, and with faces it's a harder to do that for sure.

Doesn’t feel like encouragement if you’re punishing people that didn’t do something to a standard that was never specifically mentioned. /:

Also you specifically mention not creating illusion of longer arms or legs because the skin is meant to be armless for this, yet to allow a look that has a literal hand holding a phone?

just throwin my 2 cents in here, I understand the intention of having both the face and the frame as the required items, so we all get that cool illusion of it being a picture/painting

but for the future i personally would like if you'd avoid choosing skins as the required item. especially this skin since it is specifically made to be customized by the players, not saying it can't be used as is, it is a beautiful skin<3 but arguably wwib isn't supposed to be "wear this item as is", we are supposed to incorporate it into our style, and it is extremely difficult to know where the line is of a face/skin being visible enough or not
you allow adding eyes but at the same time the eyes are 90% of the skin so using open eyes on this skin alone covers it 2/3 making it an invalid entry

i am bullshitting the math but hopefully u get what i mean

(oh and yeah you should've made this clarification to others much much sooner, like 3 days ago when you also answered my question, not the day before deadline, that just doesn't look good imo)

There's absolutely something along the way that went horribly wrong, especially w/ how guidelines were made but not made clear and definitely not in due time.
I do believe it is the host who should decide what to do with the entries that were tagged, so I'll let the be as is. However we are turning it in the team - In case that is any consolation.

But I do still want to apologize for how this was handled on behalf of SMT.
We are taking this as a lesson to learn from.

Let's say if we do decide to do WWIB with a skin in the future, but where maybe the color would be the part that's the 'recognition' do you think that'd work? Or should skins just not be a thing at all for WWIB?
(Just trying to check where limits are or aren't)

Do you mean for example “use a green skin”?
Cause while I think that could be fun and would be a lot harder to hide to the point where you can’t recognize it as a green skin, it might be problematic with the limited skins in that color? Especially for new(er) players. (Assuming y’all don’t include a free skin in a code)

Do you mean for example “use a green skin”?
Cause while I think that could be fun and would be a lot harder to hide to the point where you can’t recognize it as a green skin, it might be problematic with the limited skins in that color? Especially for new(er) players. (Assuming y’all don’t include a free skin in a code)

It'd probably be us assigning a certain skin (green, pink or whatever) and then you'd have to dress that skin up. Whether it be a skin we provide or one we magically discover in MP.
Facial features wouldn't be as important as the actual color of the skin, because the skin can be recognized from well.. The color

I'm not going to redo my entry either, since the instructions weren't clear I asked and you took 2 days to respond. It's not worth it.
