The big day was finally here, Marie was so happy to finally be marrying the love of her life, James. Everything had went so smoothly while planning this special day. They got to use the most beautiful church, and fill it with all their loved ones. The decorations, the cake, the dress, it all worked out how she dreamed it would. But about half an hour before the ceremony her groom was no where to be found.
"He's probably just taking a walk.. " she told her mother, "He does that when he's excited for something. It helps the time pass. He'll be back any minute." Now it was true James took walks by himself when he was trying to pass the time, but he also did this when he needed space, or time to think more less.
It was ten minutes till the wedding was supposed to start and still yet no one has seen or heard a peep from James.
Marie was almost in tears, "Mother, can you get Kathrine to come to me? I could use a lullaby." Kathrine was her older sister, she's been there for her through everything. When they were little, she'd sing her little sister a lullaby at times when she had nightmares or just scared about something. She's done it all their lives, and Marie needed it then more than ever.
A few more minutes went by and now nobody has seen Kathrine either. So unfortunately Marie had to sing the lullaby to herself to calm down. It did not help one bit though. She was so confused and afraid at this point nothing could have helped her anyway really.
A lot of James' family tried to get in touch & find him but no luck whatsoever. As for everyone else they were nice enough to stay about an hour but nothing ever changed, so they just went on home. More time passed and now the bride has given up. So she got in her car without telling anyone goodbye and drove to her sister's house, praying she'd be there. She walked up the front steps of the porch to see that the door is open, she smiled with tears in her eyes and went  through the door. "Kat?" She calls. "I'm so glad your here, this day has been horrible.."
She said stepping into Kathrine's bedroom to find some rest. But the room is already occupied. Kathrine and James are in the bed asleep. Marie covered her mouth to scream into it in anger. 
Their eyes opened in shock to see Marie standing there. She runs into the kitchen as fast as possible and grabbed the largest knife she could find, "Marie!" James yelled from the room, "This is just a misunderstanding!"
She walks back to the bedroom very slowly, singing something familiar to Kathrine under her breath- While coming at them with a butcher knife 
"Do not wail and do not weep for it's time for you to go to sleep"
