you gotta know that wanting to make sure and being impatient isn't the same thing

it's a bit unprofessional to not say anything when the deadline is over. I get that everyone has lives and many may be busy, but it's not like the host has to decide immediately, just openly comment how it may take a little while because of their situation, and inform that it will in fact be announced in this thread. doing this will stop people commenting about the winners because then that's all the info you need! It seems very unlikely that someone would still ask after a comment like that, but if someone does, THAT'S spamming and being impatient.

but you see, everyone can forget about things, everyone is only human. and as I said, forgetting it isn't the only thing that could happen, so you wanna make sure because pretty much anything could've happened. For example the other thing I mentioned in the same sentence (put in bold so you can't miss it this time)

Point being: PEOPLE JUST WANNA MAKE SURE
that's not nagging and being impatient
