Sitting by the computer, listening to a podcast or some music, in the background you canhear rain hitting the windowpanes – it reminds you that there is a world outside.
It feels easy to forget when you’re all cover up in coding or writing.
You areso stressed now a days, hearing noises that makes you nervous is merely a side
effect of an over-active brain. You tell yourself that the noises you hear can
easily be explained. That crackle is just a rusty pipe, temperature changes
when the seasons shifts causes the walls o increase or decrease in size. Nothing
new, sounds come naturally. It’s all normal.
You goto school, you come home, you’re tired, you want to sleep – but you can’t? You
tell yourself that your head is tired, but your body isn’t – that seems
reasonable, doesn’t it?
I amoften afraid; I am often scared. Anxious, scared of the dark – you can keep
telling yourself that you’re not scared, but I can’t. You can argue for logical
reasons, but I can’t.You can keep convincing yourself that there’s nothing
there is in the dark, but I can’t… Because I am the dark.
