Night 1
The stars over Mars shimmer faintly behind its blood-red dust fog

Icantwhistle sets up camp for the night, with Limited and Remains. They decide to sleep in shifts so there's always at least one ready to fight during the night.

Someone must've been impressed by Devilcake's discovery of the river, because it isn't long until he hears a thud. He has received a hatched from an unknown sponsor. This game seems promising for him, and he smirks to himself.

Toraix takes on the task of cooking, so he makes a fire and prepares the food for the group.
The others (NobodyRaphael, concertsrule, Athena and Cetus) sleep in shifts to protect the camp.

Bexxi is living a quiet life for now, minding her own business. Suddenly she hears a drone crashing nearby, so she goes to investigate. In the drone she finds medical supplies.

Sadbread sits by their fire, enojying the heat. However they can not sleep, they know to stay alert.

Lain makes a fire to cook some food, and puts it out as soon as she is done cooking so she won't attract too much attention.

Elsewhere, hidden among twisted wines and ruin arches, Aske cries herself to sleep. No one hears - or if they do, they do not come.

Eliah and mimimumu sit around a fire, telling stories about themselves to each other.

Day 2 of the Drekkal’Zuun
The red sun rises over the ruins. It's a question of time before blood will be spilled.

In the early morning light Eliah and mimimumu gathers firewood together. The only thing that can be heard between them is the crack of brittles branches breaking in their hands.

After a long night in came the trio have gotten thirsty, so Icantwhistle, remains and Limited starts exploring the arena. It isn't long until Limited receives a sponsor gift, inside is a jug filled with water.
Not far from the gift drop is Icantwhistle and remains, the squeal in excitement when they hear a roaring river. Finally some water!

Meanwhile the group of five has a whole different adventure. Cetus has gone out to look for food and water, so has Athena.
While back at camp NobodyRaphael and concertsrule gets into a a huge argument. concertsrules gets scared of NobodyRaphael's reactiong and runs off before anything bad happens.

After NobodyRaphael has calmed down, Toraix and them decides to unite again today so they go hunting for prey.

Aske realizes that she doesn't have any source of water on her, so she sets out to find water. To her luck she hears a river in the distance and starts running towards it.

Lain hasn't heard any of the other participants during these games so she decides to go explore, when suddenly she stands in front of a cave entrance. She steps forwards and disappears from view. No one knows what she finds in the dark.

mimimumu spots Athena through behind one of the colosseum pillars and decides to leave Eliah for a moment to investigate.
It doesn't take mimimumu many moments before mimimumu takes out some rope from her bag and then she lunges at Athena trying to strangle them. Unaware of the scene that's playing our behind a nearby pillar, Eliah calls out for mimimumu distracting her. Mimimumu drops the rope and runs towards Eliah.
Fortunately Athena survives the attack.

remains have gone dipping their feet into the river, while Icantwhistle walks a bit downstream to see if there's a place where the stream is more calm, maybe they can fish?
However not far away a Sadbread is hidden ready for an ambush. Sadbread catches Icantwhistle off guard, but to Icantwhistle's luck her reaction is fast and she throws Sadbread into the river.
Sadbread floats with the stream, but they survive.

After a long time looking, Cetus finally reaches a river. Immediately she lays on her stomach drinking as much water as she can. For a moment she is not prey, not a predator, just human.

In the heart of the ruins, Bexxi stumbles upon a shattered statue. It seems like it was a massive Martian warrior. She decides to rest in its shadow, scratching words into the dust with her finger. She isn't just surviving, no she is planning.

Devilcake is having a quiet day, picking flowers.
