Short backgroung story: The greek sea God Poseidon often felt alone, and often seeked comfort in looking up into the sky full of stars. He once spotted the roman love god Venus up in the dark sky, and instantly fell in love. He couldn't take his eyes off of her, and it resulted in me felling down as a star from the sky, and into the sea, were I grew up as a sea ruler to keep Poseidon with company. As the first mermaid of all, I made sure the love from Venus spred in the sea, and more mermaids came to birth with time.
The love between two totally different type of Gods gave me a dysfunctional eye, but I was strong and used it to my advantage. Now I can seek out even the smallest amount of light out of the deepest and darkest parts of the sea, even tho I'm usually blind in that eye.

(I just wanted to have fun with a little backstory, which inspired me to make this outfit. I know the different Gods aren't really related in any way, but that's what makes it fun and unique, imo. Hope that's ok.)
