Vela Black is a half-blood, a stain on the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, a highly unsurprising event - as was the discovery that her patronus took the form of a black mamba; a creature that shies away from confrontation but becomes a force to be reckoned with when threatened. She hopes to become a spell-crafter, curse breaker or both what with ancient runes, arithmancy and DADA being her favourite subjects.
