Dear players,

After the success of last TikTok competition, we decided to organise another one where you can once again win amazing prizes! We want you all to join TikTok and make one or more TikToks about Virtual Popstars dress up aspect. Go for ‘less is more’ or ‘make it big’: it’s up to you. Maybe your TikTok goes viral and you’ll win. Anything can happen, even if you’re new to TikTok.

There are a few things different compared to last time, so make sure to read all the requirements before you participate!

First of all, this time there aren’t three different competitions per server, but there’s one over all servers. All the TikToks will be judged by Shadowjess (EN), Voldemort (DE) and Wishbone (NL).

Requirements
Make at least one TikTok (more is allowed) where you dress your avatar like a celebrity. Choose one celebrity for your video.

You’re allowed to make more TikToks, BUT keep in mind you have to choose one celebrity for each TikTok. Par example, one based on Birtney Spears and one based on Rihanna is okay, but you can’t put both celebrities in one video.

The name of the website has to be clearly visible in the TikTok or has to be clearly spoken: virtualpopstar.com/Virtual Popstar. Avoid using ‘VP’ as new players don’t know what that means.

Showing it in the URL bar or the logo on the loginpage is possible, but be aware it’s long enough visible and not a split second. The best way to make sure it’s 100 percent visible is to put it as text in your TikTok that overlays the video.

Your username has to be clearly visible in the TikTok: show your profile or your name in the header or your name on the homepage above your outfit.

Show it in one of the three things listed above. NO screenshots. NOT typed in text in the TikTok. NOT typed in the description. Logging in where you only type your name in NOT ENOUGH.

The language in your TikTok doesn’t matter. The smartest thing to do is using English so you can reach a larger audience.

You can, of course, only send in a video that’s made by you. No stealing or you will be disqualified.

You can’t use a TikTok you made before this competition (1st of March). You have to make a new one.
Your TikTok has to be online at least till the winners are announced. If you remove it earlier, you will be disqualified.

Buying likes or views is strictly FORBIDDEN. If we find out you did this, you will be disqualified.

How to participate
Send the link of your TikTok to Shadowjess before March 7 23:59 GMT

Prizes

100 VIEWS
Everyone with 100 views wins 25.000 PopDollar and 250 credits.

MOST VIEWS
The TikTok with the most views wins 500 euros.

SECOND MOST VIEWS
The TikTok with the second most views wins 150 euros.

MOST CREATIVE
The most creative TikTok - judged by Shadowjess, Voldemort and Wishbone - wins 150 euros.

If you make more videos the one with the most views count. You get prizes only once.

Results of the competition will be announced as soon as possible.

Use many (trending) hashtags
Use the celebrity that you've chosen. User songs or audio from that person, put their name in the hashtags etc

Importance of this competition
Kaj invests a lot of money in this competition, but why? We all know Virtual Popstar doesn’t have that many active players. It’s quiet on the forums and that’s sad. “Virtual Popstar deserves to be known and our great community deserves more members”, Kaj says. We’re hoping that with the use of this popular platform we can gain more users and make VP more fun to play.
