Hi folks! SMT here bringing you a different competition today. Photography!

We're well into Spring and for most of us, the flowers are budding, the skies are blue
and the birds are chirping. For others? It may be dark, cold and rainy.
Whatever it is, we want to see what nature is like for YOU.

How to enter:
1. Post your nature-themed photo to Tumblr, Twitter or Instagram
2. Use the hashtags #SMTNaturePhotography2021 and #Photography
3. Write your VP username in the caption
4. Tag SMT's account

* You MUST do all four steps or your entry won't be valid. Your account MUST be public!

» Don't edit your submission post - if you want to change it, delete the post and make a new one.

1. Why is editing allowed? How much can I edit my photo?
- Allowing editing increases the fairness to those who don't live nearby somewhere aesthetically pleasing involving nature.
- You can NOT add nature elements such as a tree or flower to the photo.
- The editing should go no further than filters, lighting & text.

2. What will you judge the photos on?
We will bring lots of different elements in to consideration when voting on our favourite nature photographs.
We will look at lighting, angles, the main feature (e.g a tree)and much more.
Ultimately, just like outfits, it's subjective and we will pick the ones we enjoy the most.

3. Can I use a picture that's not new? (e.g. from last year)
Yes, as long as the picture is taken by you.

Additional note about new Tumblr blogs
New blogs won't show up under tags until you've used your account for a while and done normal, human things with it such as follow other blogs and like or reblog posts. If you don't already have an existing blog to use for this event, we suggest you try entering with a different media instead.
