I mean, I never killed with a sickle though (prior to this of course)
I also think that maybe a spate would have been better? but that requires for you to get your victim down to the floor first
but then you can use your body weight instead of some crazy wrist flicking technique

the big ones (like death is often shown with) are a lot more difficult, because you need to do the twisting movement with your whole upper body and kind of twist from your knee? I never managed to get that one down properly

Sounds easy enough but probably not as easy as it sounds in practice
