Any Mili birth control users?

howdy y’all, I have a question

i just got prescribed Sprintec, have any of y’all used it & how was it for you? Using it for pcos related purposes but no children is a plus. ALSO when I went to get them, Walgreens gave me Mili instead and didn’t tell me and everything I’m seeing for that is v bad so any Mili users out there have feedback on that?? I just messaged my doctor & hopefully she’ll tell me not to use it but we shall see. I know birth control effects vary a lot by person but Mili reviews look extremely negative and sprintec at least has a good amount of good ones. Also they’re the regular not the tri kind

update: was told to take the Mili rip
so opinions on that one if anyone's used it?

I'm not familiar with the two bc I've been on the generic form of Dasetta
Found a comparison for you though: https://www.drugs.com/compare/mili-vs-sprintec

I have never heard of either so I don't think they are used in norway cus they don't show up on google either, but if they gave u another one, its supposed to be the "exact" same tho isnt it? Like same dose of estrogen and progesterone, so they are interchangeable, just one is usually less expensive. U can still have bad experiences on one rather than the other, but

That's generally how it works often with insurance in the US. They'll say "No, we don't wanna pay for that give them this instead it's cheaper."

Looks generally similar besides star ratings. And that Mili is listed just for birth control and the other says stuff about cysts, endo, etc. so maybe sprintec would be better for my case

Definitely bring it up with your doctor, the reason Walgreens probably gave Mili instead is your insurance.
Your doctor may be able to reason with your insurance on why you need Sprintec instead and convince them to cover it.

I’m seeing a lot of people say CVS and Walgreens with swap them if they don’t have sprintec which I guess is what happened

Could be the case too, what they should be doing if they get it in normally is just tell you how long it will take.

Yeah I just messaged her asking if I should just take what I got or if she thinks I should get the other.

Every combination birth control pill will work the same regardless of brand, for the pcos, as long as ur not on low dose estrogen pills, im pretty sure

Well, it's just easier to go to the closest one instead of driving like 20 mins for a prescription.

I always just forget there are so many stores over there but they are allegedly extremely spread out
