the weight is odd but i dont like the way it pulls my ear hole down. i assume its gonna look not as weird when the redness of the hole itself fades away in like. a year. which is fine i dont wanna wear heavy earrings until im sure its completely healed but like. the weight is still gross feeling

It's just about getting used to it. Start out with less heavy earrings and train yourself for the heavier ones.

It's best if you just use small earrings at first, like the ones that doesn't dangle and are small. Then slowly add length and details.
Materials are also nice to look at - plastic is lighter than most metals for instance, but real pearls are kind of a middle thing.

i currently have these ones in which r my smallest non-stud earrings and they dont feel heavy at least, i dont notice them being there. i think the problem is i dont feel a weight difference between holding these in my hand and holding any other bigger pair i have sjkdhfs

(the dangly behind bit is the wrong way around in this pic i didnt notice when i first put them in dfhjsfk)

wondering if its alright to sleep in small seamless hoops?? ive never used less than 15 minutes getting the ball back on the every day studs i use and thats NOW while my nails are the shortest theyve been in MONTHS. but im worried a ring will 1) agitate if i sleep on it weird and 2) agitate if it twists around on its own ??? its fine for my nose but i dont sleep ON my face so like ofc its fine for that

i hate having a sensitive fragile will-riot-at-the-slightest-inconvenience body. let me wear jewellery without throwing a fit

I have two pairs of small hoop earrings on all the time and they don't bother me at all :)

Not at all

I actually don't feel the weight
what annoys me most is the earrings cathing in my hair or me getting caught in when brushing my hair back with my hand
the weight itself really doesn't bother me

also, the hair getting caught in the earrings is only really a matter for a pair of bird earrings I have that go to my shoulder and have something like straw to make the feathery bit, so it combs through the hair and gets stuck like that
earrings just made of metal or metal-adjacent material don't cause any issues
