Did you like Bonnie's Go Gently? o: I've heard a lot about it and I'm considering buying it
It didn't learn me much new since so much of the practical content relies on zero waste (meaning you can google urself to most of this for free). The history/facts are us based or more general claims as that is where she lives. She also have some interview w minority groups in it to expand on the perspectives, which was new. But not a large part. I love her person tho. So sweet.
Have you checked her gogently youtube channel and insta? Bc i sorta like that content better. It's all related ofc.
Like i think the main thing i want to say about that book is that it is based on the importance of individual actions. Many readers didn't like that because the mainstream is currently turned more toward large scalr action. But Bonnie Wright havr worked in activism for years so it is a logical step for her since she already has her foot in the larger actions. But the book is still mostly about individual actions. Personally, we all know i support them even tho we have to question the effectiveness at a point.
So like personally, don't love it. I listened to the audiobook on trial tho
This is really good to know, thank you! I will definitely keep this in mind ♥
