Gamers and tech people I need help

I've been trying to play Dreamlight Valley for a few days now but the game isn't launching. Idk what else to do, I got a 8GB memory card because I had a 4GB one and my dad thought that was the problem but it's still not launching, the window opens but then it shuts down immediately before anything happens. Does anybody know what else could be the problem?

Me neither unfortunately :/
But it might be the best place to start.
If you don't want to try that yet though, try this guide:

If you buy a game you own it.
You can install and uninstall the game over and over.
Sometimes the ghost in the machine acts up and the best thing is to delete and install again.
Good luck.

Legally no.
If you buy a game, you actually just buy a license to play it. When you do so digitally the service you bought it from can decide to delete the game from their service, so it isn't possible for you to download it again.
Some services has a "buy, download once and then you have to pay again" scheme going as well.

Is this shitty? Yes. Unfortunately we're getting to an era, where physical copies are getting less and less common, and you can't secure your right to the license  the same way digitally, unless you download it and save it on a hard drive or something similar.

What is the game requirements for running on computers? And what does your computer have?

Also epic game, you should be able to uninstall and install again.

Make sure your drivers/pc are all up to date. I had an issue with my graphics card driver on my old computer and it wouldn't let me run any games because of it.

Yeah, that can cause games to shut down immediately after opening them. I've tried it too, sp check your drivers

I have never encountered a service that is pay for 1 download only, epic games, origin, steam, playstation etc etc u all "own" the game in a practical sense, and can download it and uninstall as u want, on multiple computers too usually

if you ever do and write in english, I'd love being able to read it afterwards if that's an option
(love the subject because of the sociocultural and political aspect to it)

The thing where it just shits down at once happened with me with sims 4 before tho, but depends on from where I opened it, like home screen, inside origin, on the task bar etc it would sometimes work on one of them but not on the other spots, idk why. But I think it just works again now
