I work for a nonprofit organization that provides public services for people with developmental disabilities. One of the programs they offer are group homes. This organization currently has eight.

The one I work in primarily houses the middle aged and seniors. It's considered a last resort before transferring to an old folks home/nursing home. We house them for as long as we can. Some end up in the old folks home; others have stayed until they passed which is really cool. 

In fact several of the residents lived in two or three other homes before moving and were all roommates for decades. It's neat! They're like a second family. 

The girl who made the accusation is 34, so our youngest (everyone else ranges from 48-84). She is in that home because she starts too many fights in the other ones. She has behavior issues and has actually accused other people of this before. I'm not the only one who has had to swap. She knows she can kick people out by doing this to them. 

I'm betrayed she would do this to me. I can handle her threatening to call the cops on me but I put my heart and soul into caring for you no matter how horribly you treated me and this is the thanks I get?

I don't think she even really understands the true implications of acussing someone of molestation. She just knows it gets people in trouble.  My boss described "touched me inappropriately" as her power words.

Nah. Legally they have to go through an investigation. I have a meeting tomorrow evening at the office. But she has done this before. I'm happy I'm at least transferred somewhere else temporarily so I'm not screwed out of a paycheck. I hope I get to go back tho, because I love working in that home.

Um this shouldnt be happening stop letting her get away with it 

I had to hear this girl go on about her favorite staffs husband working concrete over and over and nothing was done about it 

In the home I swapped at? That stuff doesnt fly. "You're a broken record. Stop obsessing over people." 

I think I prefer the culture so I'm genuinely considering transferring
