Do anyone know where I can buy yarn like this in Norway or what it is even called?

I usually see it go by Chunky or fluffy yarn (if shiny, it goes by velvet yarn)

I sadly only know danish sites though.

I think it's called microfiber yarn, or terry cloth yarn if that helps.

Lion Brand is the only brand I know that makes it, that's large enough they may be in your country.

If a store stocks a brand of yarn, and they don't have the exact type you want, sometimes they'll be willing to order it for you if you're buying enough.

When I lived in North Carolina we used to have this little hippie grocery store that would stock this snack I liked on my request because I purchased enough of it to make it worth it.

Sometimes I will thrift sweaters with yarn I like and unravel them to use the yarn for something else.
Don't go into that blindly though, it doesn't work for a lot of fast-fashion knits with serged seams, but I can show you how to tell the difference if that's something you're interested in.

so you're looking for like, a natural-fiber equivalent?

there are like, natural-fiber terrycloth equivalents but I wouldn't know where to look, and they're more likely to just feel like towels than feel soft.

you could also message the etsy seller and ask what yarn it is.
its probably in the pattern if you buy it.

if it exists, but Norway does not really have a large selection of things so I don't expect to find it.

That's not bad, but depends if it stretches out thin or not or if it keeps its width. I will look for it next time I'm close to a Panduro.

Same, I'm unraveling a 45% angora, 45% lambswool. 15% nylon sweater I thrifted for like, 100 shekels. It's expensive for a thrifted sweater but cheap as hell for that quantity of luxury fibre, highly recommend.

I think natural fibre yarn is one of those things that Norway does have a large selection of lmao
