A collective is basically when you live "collectively" with other people (I'd say 3+ other people, maybe?)
Often enough it's a political thing, and or has been squatted! At least in my case.

The one I live at currently is political, everyone who lives here are leftists and every time we eat together it's vegan, we also fix everything ourselves, it's very DIY based!
