piercing

Yesterday i went with my friends to have my first ear piercing, a Helix. 9 euros, cleaning kit and earring included hehe. It didnt hurt that much actually and the pain is bearable, (although when it gets caught in my hair it hurts a lot). I hope it doesnt get infected. I didnt knew you needed to heal it for 2 months before you can change the earring. I thought it would be like a 2 or 3 weeks.  Anyways, i hope that in a couple of weeks it doesnt hurt at all, because for now it is not very comfortable to sleep.

Do you have any piercing? How was it?

I have a helix and 4 normal ear piercings.

I had 2 tragusses (tragi?) but they got infected during covid because I was always wearing earplugs.

I had stretched ears too but took them out years ago.

All piercings 9 euros. Its Spain so its cheaper, but this one was even cheaper. The needle was new and they gave us a kit to clean it afterwards, so at least that was nice. I was scared because it was too cheap, so hopefully it doesnt turn out bad. Hope its not a scam

I could have gone to my pharmacy and get it done for 5 euros but the pharmacist, or however is said, is not a profesional so and i wanted it to be done nicely

oh good it was a needle.

Some unprofessional jewelers use piercing guns which can lead to nasty infections.

Do you have octenisept or other stuff for disinfecting the piercing?

I don't think it will be a problem, I just went a bit crazy during covid because there was no street noise anymore so you could hear other stuff like electric cables an the fridge through the walls and I was wearing ear plugs a lot.

Yesss i would reject it if it was with piercing guns, you dont really know if they desinfect it or not.

Yes i do have. I use it to desinfect my cat's wounds, but is for human use. They gave us some neutral gel and like watery serum or whatever is called, but my mum ( that has had piercings when she was young) told me to desinfect it with that so it heald sooner.
