I don't get that either! I'm a big fan of skincare and i do my own research before i purchase any product instead of following influencers and letting them tell me what my skin needs... i still don't understand how ppl fall for that!!!! I mean how would those influencers know your skin type and what products it'd work for it!!!

im guessing that its like   there are influencer who are youtubers or tiktokers and occassionally do ads on social media vs influencers who dont make any of that and solely exist by looking pretty and doing ads

Yes pretty much… like I think the line is defo sorta blurry in some cases but overall influencer = someone whose job it is to sell products through content, their content is either ads, or made to make people like them so they will buy the next ad they post, and content creator = creates content that is entertainment and is potentially financially supported by doing ads

I don't get that either! Yeah it’s kinda wild espec with viral products then it’s almost another thing than just the influencer like huh…..
idk like sometimes influencer content might be useful to compare products but you still have to actually find non influencer content ultimately but ig some people just hear omg buy in my tiktok shop and they just do???? Like clearly people do do that or these people wouldn’t make money 😭

Ig people would argue that they watch them because they like their style and personality but overall the purpose of the content that showcases that is to sell products so imo they usually seem to have very little personality
