Some people dresses up and acts like children, calling a guy (or women) daddy (resp. mommy). In this case it normalizes pedophilia.

HOWEVER, calling someone daddy can also be a power thing. To show submissiveness. It's like calling someone master except daddy has a milder tone to it.

I've had this discussion with some friends and we basically came to the conclusion that for people who speak english as a native languish it's kinda creepy but for people that never actually called their dad daddy since it's not in their languish, it's not as weird.
