He even went shopping for shit earlier (he jumped in the bag himself, i swear i didnt put him there)
He walk around freely in my apartment, the cage  he can always go in or out, he has a "litterbox" for kittens he uses in my kitchen. He never chews on shit.
I wish my bunnies could do that lmao

but they have a really big cage and a playpen they can jump in and out of freely between them an
and the cage is by the window so they jump up on the cage and then up the window and look out.
Got a leash for my older bunny but not the baby as I wanna get him one when he’s bigger.
alfred is cute af
Thanks I actually have had two bunnies. Had to let them out separately, since they were two males. But I can relate! I remember my bunny Pjevs always waking me 6 am, by dragging his food dish all the way to my bed lmao

I mean, Alfred was the same for 3 months ago since he was abused pretty badly. So he wasn't used to a huge cage as mine or being allowed freely. He still goes under pr between my feet if he gets a bit scared, so I know when he needs to be picked up!

I've fostered a lot of "special hard cases" it requires trust and just them feeling comfort. Some might find comfort in their cages which is fine. Each piggies is very different <3

I have two currently, a female who is 2 years old and a little adoptive bunny we rescued who is two months now I think? Or 1.5 months. We got him in the beginning of April and he was approx 4 weeks I think the person said.

ellie (older) is really chill and likes to cuddle and wants to be close meanwhile stompe(baby) isn’t very social at all and prefers to be by himself and play.

he does cuddle with Ellie a lot tho. When she’s resting he can go up and lay by her, under her or on top of her lmao

we can’t let them out 100% freely cause mum’s cat likes to “play” with the baby :) (lil’ asshole) but stompe ain’t scared of anything lmao he’ll willingly jump over to the cat.

I didnt lift or pick him up (ofc when i cleaned his cage) for a month. I only did it the he seemed my attention. Idk.
Im autistic, so I tend to understand animals a bit more and have done my entire life, so four years ago I decided to use it to something helpful.
It suck letting them go again, but knowing they're ready for their forever homes make me happy

Truuuue, with cats you have to supervise them a lot (I had a cat myself and stil have at my parents)
Do you have any pics? I adore their little binkies

Idk, Pingo, my other was kinda like that. I just think that animals have each their personality, so some might have more outburst and be more social than others. Completely normal of mt experience.

You sound so caring! I'm really glad this world has people like you! Autistic or not, you really have some love to offer <3
I don't think I would be able to let go again it must be really hard

I mean yeah. One of the stigmaes about being autistic is seen as not feeling empathy, but from my friendgroup who's mostly autistic, we tend to be more than average. We feel a lot, so we might give a lot = being easily drained socially
Im actually debatting dropping out fo history at my uni to stu vet medicine instead. I just want to help people or animals, who cant speak for themselves and need care and a voice.

Ellie(white) and stompe (black)

(for some reason they’re snacking on the same treat despite there being two of them lmao)

he’s pretty Big for a two month’s old bun aha

they both really like the dog and enjoy being with him, but Ellie hates the cat and the cat knows not to fuck with her lmao
when she get’s mad she’ll really show it and he’ll leave aha
