omg really?? she totally changed music, especially for females. she dared to be her weird self and has inspired so many. almost all like artsy musicians out there wouldn't exist if it wasn't for her. björk and all of those. i listened to her most popular songs on spotify first and i was just wow this is my soulmate. she's not for everyone tho, her voice is very very unique. she became famous in like her 20s and she's turning 62 soon...

i'm more into janis myself
they're not very similar but i feel like you might enjoy her. she was like really huge back in the day in europe but not so much in america, and she's very private and she only toured in 1979 and then not until 2014 (!) and she only did a few performances. she's very mysterious and she's going her own way and i admire that.

i keep my friends when they're real, if you know what i mean? like i said, six, seven years and counting... i also recently reconnected with my best friend from 5-10 years ago and it's like we never were apart
