im not joking, i live in the most desolate depopulated hell you could possibly imagine, most of the local municipalities are either bankrupt or just dirt poor and completely rely on funding from the government, and the norwegian government is a right wing party and tries to make people move away from places like these by cutting the funding and closing down important facilities. people dont want to live here, and im guessing the one local hospital we have is probably overcrowded in that specific sector because they probably lack workers

maybe if you live somewhere that has 30 hospitals where you can pick and choose where you want to go its easy, but we have one hospital with connection to the groups of islands where i live, the second closest hospital is on the mainland and requires you to travel by ferry for 3 hours and then a ferry back for 3 hours
