idk not a whole lot specifically but like

scandinavia and northern europe are just really really really white which means
a. less social consequences for racism,
b. less social incentive to unlearn racism,
c. a lot of casual or 'lightweight' racism that isnt even acknowledged as racist bc it's v 'normal' and never called out
d. relatively 'left-wing' or 'progressive' politics that racists can point to as """proof""" they're not racist
e. as nations they tend to have a lot more wealth, often extracted from the global south, and so things like good healthcare, infrastucture, etc. that white people there enjoy often come at the expense of poor people of color in 'developing' nations

idk having grown up in europe and the US, being white in europe it's a lot easier to never even have to think abt race issues and not question the status quo of racism that is embedded in our culture

but like lmao cant imagine vp is the place to have a critical discussion abt racism or queer issues anyway ahaha big laughs
