Did u try breathing into your mouth and breathing out thru ur nose for ten seconds each while holding your breath in for an additional 3 seconds inbetween? Helps me a lot; especially when paired w/ muscle relaxation, calming music and visualization, also repeating mantras, often "this too shall pass"
Also mindfulness meditation! Or grounding.... focus on the sensory cues of a particular object or detail... that helps me a lot
Biggest anxiety tip tho... face ur fears... I was borderline agoraphobic and wouldn't go to public school or concerts or grocery stores 4 awhile... when I went outside and realized having a panic attack publicly wasnt the worst thing in the world I started going to places I was normally afraid of again
Facing ur fears is easier said than done tho; I still cant get over my fear of driving -_-
Also fuck it... as a last resort, ocassional benzos are great, just dont operate a car while under the influence (I wish it was safe to drive while high on benzos maybe I could drive again lol)
I have diagnosed panic disorder and social anxiety anxiety sux but its manageable w/ practice I promise
Yes I don't own any cognitive anxiety so breathing doesn't help cus I don't need to calm down, I only have physical anxiety
