I think Yiddish is so interesting but it's not on my learning list

we shouldn't let languages die that easily

Idk, Sami in Norway has actually turned the trend so currently it's experiencing that there is an increased number of people who know it and consider it their native language. Sami people who grew up learning Norwegian as their native language has even put extra effort into learning Sami to ensure that their children have Sami as their native language

People thought Yiddish would die. People considered Hebrew dead for around 1700 years, and now look at it.

Accessing books on it shouldn't be too hard, especially as Sami is taught in schools so there should be some pensum on it that's considered good enough
