ya but she's used that name to publish all of her mystery novels so far , its just her pen name for that genre

like she's not hiding, everyone knows that thats her pen name also u kno ? its a stylistic and branding choice that she's been making for years

like i very much doubt a 'trying to protect her reputation' thing bc if she could internalize the idea that being transphobic is bad for her reputation then she might reflect on the idea that being transphobic is bad which . she seems not to b doing
