nynorsk sounds more compact n like a farmer n bokmål sounds lighter more preppy 
tho the actual difference isn't a lot ig

bokmål: norwegianized danish. 
nynorsk: dialects of the southern Norway collected by Ivar Aasen. It used to be called "Riksmål." Basically use:  diftong, "j" fx. "ikke" > "ikkje". "kv" instead of "hv" (hva, hvorfor > kva, kvifor), sam instead of som, -ande instead of -ende.

also my arch enemy in this language is the word "example." It took me 6 years to figure that "eksempel" is "døme" in new norwegian. Like i thought someone was dying but no it's an example
