My mom used to buy premade raw cookies you had to pop in oven 

She would cook according to instructions but they were still doughy in center so shed cook them for a few extra minutes, they would be perfect then turn hard5 mins l8r and she didnt understand y even at 10 I figted out ot was cuz they were stil cooking even when no longer in oven
So I let em sit and they turned out perfect 

My mom was shook
