Nah mate, Luxembourgish sounded like some kind of Afrikaans German French breed so I understood more of what she said than the Icelandic ngl.

I'm sure he's nice and all but I just......... don't understand. And I think my vocabulary makes it worse, so basically I don't understand him and if I understand I'll start going off in academic Norwegian and then he's like "that's nice" and the convo is over lmao

I had German in school for 2 years so I should have some kind of skills in it. It's better than my Spanish but arguably worse than my French.
