Idk about the medical system in your country, but if you can afford to/have the option to, I would look up specialized dermatology practices who have experience with this. 

Also iron deficiency(?) doesn't make your hair fall out in patches, it is more a diffuse hair loss where the hair is thinning everywhere and it has to be pretty severe to occur.
